Build, maintain, and modify the central basis network and infrastructure for SAP operability, including base SAP client and IMG set-ups. Support the design/construction and implementation phases of a system and/or upgrade project. Recommend improvements to strategy, application usage, or process, applying knowledge of the business processes in various functional areas. System-wide responsibility on complex components or complex projects. Provide direction for entire project or a project team. Work is critical to project success. Influence at account level and at customer management level. May be called
upon to solve highly technical, complex problems and consult on other projects. Work under minimal supervision. Provide input to project-related decisions. May write proposals and price-out projects. Troubleshoot complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.
Job Responsibilities & REQUIREMENTS:
- Seasoned individual capable of handling broad scope projects that have short to medium-term focus
- Works with guidance on more complex projects
- Capable of applying knowledge to handle all but the most complex problems independently
- Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts
- Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
- Individual typically has at least 5-7 years of related experience
Lead in designing and developing technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality. Perform complex programming, interface development, testing, and defect resolution related to new and on-going projects. Provide technical support to users and project teams on matters related to business functions, system functionality, and the greater SAP environment. Job Requirements:
Prepare comprehensive and thorough technical documentation including design specifications, test conditions, and unit test plans. 6+ years’ experience working with SAP R/3, ECC 6.0 Strong overall ABAP development experience MUST HAVE 2+ years’ experience working with the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) and/or Organizational Management (PD Org) modules Knowledge of SAP system landscape, the transport system and OSS notes Knowledge of SAP Data Structures (Tables, Data Elements and Domains) Knowledge of SAP ABAP/4, SAP Dialog Programs, ALV grids, and configuration Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team based environment Must be comfortable interacting with vendors, business partners and internal IT teams Excellent communication & influencing skills Strong verbal, written and presentation skills Strong negotiation skills and ability to address & resolve conflicts diplomatically Ability to work through complexity with ease, identifying themes across complicated issues in time critical situations
