Position Description:
This person will help operations identify opportunities for decreasing operational processing costs and/or increasing medical cost savings. Perform complex data analysis to identify patterns, correlations among business data elements, trends and anomalies in order to generate insights into historical and future operational performance. Using advance excel and statistical skills, build flexible models to forecast savings, analyze and optimize operational performances. Deliver persuasive messages based on sound, thorough, fact-based analysis and logic to compel Senior Leadership teams to act as needed. Foster trusted relationships with Senior Leadership to proactively identify constituent needs and develop business intelligence and analytical solution portfolios. Perform complex business analysis using a combination of known and unknown data elements in order to create business cases for new initiatives and enhancements.
Qualifications
Requirements:
5+ years experience with analyzing large data sets using Excel and SAS
5+ years experience with data analysis
5+ years experience in collecting requirements and designing dashboards, scorecards and drill through reports using enterprise Business Intelligence applications
HS Diploma/GED required
Assets:
Experience with statistical tools such as SPSS
SQL experience a plus
Data Warehousing / Data Mart project experience a plus
