The Payroll Specialist is an integral team member of the SASSC HR/Payroll Staff and is responsible for bi-weekly processing of payroll for Student Affairs. Duties include collection and verification of timesheets and input of hours worked into the University payroll system. In addition, the position is responsible for Attendance & Leave Tracking including all types of leave and maintenance of records. Position assists with leave audits, runs departmental reports and provides departmental training. Position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least four years of experience in an office or administrative support position. Additional education may not be substituted for this experience requirement.
Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in human resources.
