SBM Offshore is currently seeking a Fleet Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for the following duties:

Implementation of personnel policies for the offshore expatriate FPSO, FSO and MOPU staff.

Coordinate all Human Resources activities for the fleet of FPSOs in the Gulf of Mexico.

Coordinate the entire recruitment process for offshore expatriate personnel (determination of job profiles, management of recruitment campaigns and interviews, verification of competencies and references, appointment of candidates).

Management of the subcontracts with staffing agencies and crewing subcontractors for the provision of offshore personnel from selected countries. Verify compliance with general company standards by Subcontractors.

Ensure that vessels remain manned with required number of suitably competent crew at all times, satisfying the requirements of both Senior Management and our clients.

Manage the teams efficiently in order to maximise the output of HR in support of fleet activities.

Coordinate the preparation of job descriptions and to determine required qualifications for all functions on board Company FPSOs.

Ensure all Fleet personnel are suitably qualified and experienced for their positions.

Create and drive development plans to ensure a renewing supply of skills and experience to the Fleet.

Prepare salary scales, benefits and employment conditions for offshore staff annually, benchmark within the industry, and brief Company management accordingly.

Manage payroll and personnel administration activities for offshore staff.

Manage the annual performance appraisal process for all offshore personnel.

Ensure that grievance and disciplinary matters are resolved and in compliance with local/federal laws of jurisdiction.

Drive the development and implementation ensuring execution of data management systems in close cooperation with IT.

Ensure that Company procedures and policies in human resources management are adhered to for the fleet. To recommend amendments as appropriate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree preferably in HR or Maritime Science. A different educational background could be compensated with 10 years' experience in HR Management role.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Minimum 10 years' experience in personnel management with at least 5 years in the maritime or the offshore oil and gas industry.
