The selected applicant will provide technical support of Communications Electronics Equipment, systems, subsystems, and ancillaries in fixed/mobile communications platforms for the Department of Defense, US Special Operations Forces, and other government agencies. This technical support includes travel and on-site technical assistance to OCONUS locations considered to be Hazardous Duty. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Hazardous Duty areas and meet/maintain training and “Fit for Duty” requirements (specific health and physical requirements) as specified by the contract(s) and applicable U.S. Government directives (i.e. CENTCOM Mod 11).
This position is located in Chesapeake, VA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.

US military electronics training
Active security clearance
Ability and willingness to travel to OCONUS locations
SATCOM, LOS, and HF communications operation and maintenance experience
C-E test equipment experience
High school diploma or equivalent and at least four years related experience
Ability to meet and maintain the certifications/qualifications for deployment travel to Hazardous Duty locations Preferences:
US Special Operations experience
Tactical radio operations/maintenance experience
VOIP and IP networking experience
Cryptographic equipment experience
SINCGARS, HPW, DAMA SATCOM experience
Component level repair and soldering experience
