The successful candidate will report to the NAPO IT SCADA Supervisor. This individual will serve as the primary HMI SCADA Architect and Developer for Marathon and act as the HMI SCADA liaison between SCADA IT, the Marathon Corporate SCADA coordinator, SCADA Vendors, Corporate IT (and its Outsourcing Vendors), and other Marathon Organizations.
The successful candidate will be required to be on-call 7x24 and travel up to 20% of the time throughout North America and potentially to International locations.
HMI SCADA Architect
Acts as the Architect for the HMI SCADA system
Acts the primary technical liaison for the HMI SCADA system
Leads systems analysis and technical architecture definition and design for HMI SCADA systems
Stay current in SCADA industry trends in HMI systems, Historians and Industrial Networking
Lead HMI SCADA Administrator
Acts as the primary Wonderware System Administrator for the HMI SCADA system
Provides high-level Wonderware System Administration support and guidance
Creates/Maintains graphic, alarm model, security and tag naming standards to be used in SCADA systems across Marathon’s operations.
Lead HMI SCADA Developer
Acts as the Lead Developer for the HMI SCADA system
Provides high-level Wonderware development support and guidance
Provides IT Project Managers high-level tasks and estimates for HMI SCADA projects
Prepares Work Packages for Contractor work components
Ensures documentation is developed and meets Marathon standards
Ensures compliance with Marathon Project Management and SDLC requirements
HMI SCADA Support Lead
Acts as the Technical Lead for HMI SCADA Support
A member of the On-Call, 7x24 support rotation
Acts as the primary On-Call Escalation Point for HMI SCADA system support
Acts as the primary Technical Liaison for HMI SCADA support
Provides technical assistance to Site SCADA Administrators
Assist SCADA Supervisor
Provides SCADA Supervisor with budget estimates for existing HMI SCADA contracts
Provides SCADA Supervisor with budget estimates for recurring HMI SCADA expense items
Works with the IT Supervisor to renew vendor contracts as required
Degree Required : Bachelor's preferred. Computer Science degree a plus
Certifications : Wonderware ArchestrA Integrator required
Experience Required : At least 15 years in Upstream Oil and Gas SCADA; more than 10 years development and integration of HMI Systems. Also, experience with measurement and control instrumentation programming; Industrial HMI Networking (wired and wireless); radio communications; current server and workstation hardware; current Windows operating systems; Data Historians (Pl is a plus); OPC servers (AutoSol and Top Server a plus); and alarm callout systems (WlN911 a plus)
