As a Sales Engineer in our Sensors’ division you will be responsible for supporting growth strategies and targets for our customers by discovery of new business opportunities and continued development of existing customers in the assigned sales area. To stay on the cutting edge you will participate in trade shows to find new business opportunities and perform market research.
About the Opportunity :
· Performs sales calls, promoting the MTS product offering and assessing the technical and product requirements of the customer.
· Plans, organizes and develops the assigned sales region to meet customer retention, penetration, conversion, as well as customer service and volume targets.
· Drive new opportunity development at both new customers and existing accounts
· Manage the relationship at existing customers and key accounts including forecasting, contracts and major customer issues that exceed those managed on a day to day basis by customer service.
· Provides in a timely manner quarterly and yearly forecasts for each coming year to Sales Management
· Use CRM to manage the customer relationships and activities within the territory.
· Works with the Sales Manager to develop a working budget for assigned territory.
· Act as CEO of the territory

Job Requirements
Basic Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 3 years sales experience in industrial control systems, sensors or instrumentation.

· Ability to travel up to 75% with 40-50% overnight travel.
