Fox is a majority owned subsidiary of a publicly traded company and we are seeking an SEC Reporting and Compliance Manager who will manage and prepare the Company’s SEC filings, research and document technical accounting issues that are relevant to the Company, will direct, coordinate, maintain the ongoing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and assist with internal audit as needed. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the SEC reporting processes and knowledgeable of internal controls; along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Manage the coordination and preparation of all SEC filings, including Form 10-Qs and 10-K, and the Annual Report

• Assist in the preparation of other SEC filings such as Form 8-K and registration statements, as r equired

• Analyze new and proposed accounting standards issued by the SEC and the FASB to determine the impact on the company. Implement new accounting standards as required

• Provide technical expertise for US GAAP and SEC regulations and draft technical memos illustrating guidance and conclusions

• Establish and document accounting policies and procedures

• Review agreements and recommend appropriate accounting treatment

• Responsible for monitoring company’s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

• Coordinate with internal employees, outside SOX service provider and external auditors to ensure internal controls are documented and functioning properly

• Act as Subject Matter Expert on SOX compliance and internal control issues

• Mentor and educate employees in regards to GAAP reporting and Sarbanes Oxley compliance

• Assist outside internal audit provider with testing of various operational controls

• Manage ad hoc projects and prepare responses to various requests for information

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• CPA required. Big 4 public accounting experience desirable

• 8+ years of relevant experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Thorough understanding of SEC filing requirements and US GAAP

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, and to make well-reasoned and timely decisions

• Good computer skills particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong project management skills to establish and meet deadlines
