QuinStreet is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our Finance and Accounting team. The SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
Lead in the preparation of Forms 10-K and 10-Q and other external financial reporting functions, including XBRL and other filing procedures. Review and prepare other SEC filings as needed by the business (e.g., proxy, Form 8-K, etc.) and earnings release.
Research and analyze technical accounting issues, draft technical accounting memorandums, and provide guidance to the Finance and Accounting team
Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SOX controls and procedures. Manage and actively coordinate planning, executing and reporting of operational and financial internal audits
Assess the reporting implications of changes in US GAAP, ensure compliance with new and amended standards/interpretations, coordinate changes with the Finance and Accounting team and draft changes for financial reporting disclosures
Assist with the quarter-end and year-end close process (e.g. Stock-Based Compensation, Earnings per Share, Derivative, Business Combination, etc.)
Assist in the development of QuinStreet’s Financial Reporting Policies and Standards, and ensure that they are in compliance with US GAAP
Assist with special projects and internal reporting.
Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, as well as experience with technical research and preparation of accounting memorandums is preferred.
A minimum of 4 years of related work experience, including at least 2 years of big four public accounting experience
Advance experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required
Oracle, Equity Edge and XBRL experiences is a plus
BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA is required
