Senior Development Scientist Job Description: The Senior Development Scientist participates in the evaluation and development of new technologies as well as the support of existing Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) reagents. The incumbent plans and/or performs studies for the development, evaluation and optimization of assay(s)within well-defined boundary conditions and timelines; performs and summarizes experiments independently; participates in identifying technical issues and recommending resolution; maintains well organized laboratory notebooks in compliance with relevant procedures; supports post-launch to resolve performance and/or quality issues; may supervise junior scientists; and may publish articles in scientific journals to advance the company´s marketing competitiveness.
Qualification: Strong laboratory skills are essential for this position. Classes in General and Organic Chemistry with laboratory and Biochemistry with laboratory are required. PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology, Biology or related majors with a strong emphasis on Chemistry. Candidates with strong statistical and computer skills have an advantage
