We are searching for a Senior Level Engineer for our
Norfolk, VA location. The successful candidate will
possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of
environmental engineering to the completion of
challenging assignments. In addition, the Senior Level
Engineer will perform civil and environmental projects
in accordance with RCRA, CERCLA, UST, CWA and other
compliance-related state and federal regulations. We are
seeking a Senior Level Engineer who will also perform
and oversee project tasks involving evaluation of
remedial technologies, engineering design, and
remediation operations involving innovative
technologies, emerging contaminants, vapor intrusion and
sediment contamination for both the public and private
sector. The successful candidate will also have

essential responsibilities that will include:
Communicate directly with client technical
representatives; Assist in and lead efforts in preparing
remedial action plans, feasibility studies, corrective
measure studies, remedial designs, and other engineering
documents; Lead efforts to evaluate, plan and/or conduct
studies applying in situ and ex situ treatment
processes/remediation technologies for soil,
groundwater, sediment, soil vapor, and related waste
streams; Perform technical functions on projects and
possibly direct the technical efforts of more junior
project team members, as well as providing direction and
guidance to CADD operators, designers, technicians and
field personnel; Prepare proposals, subcontracts, work
plans, engineering designs and reports.

Job Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with either a Bachelors
Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
or a related area and a minimum of 14 years of related
engineering experience; or, a Masters Degree in Civil,
Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related area
and a minimum of 12 years of related engineering
experience. Professional Engineering license is
required. The successful candidate will have a
demonstrated knowledge/application of RCRA, CERCLA, UST,
CWA and other compliance-related state and federal
regulations in planning and conducting engineering
studies. Direct experience in preparation of
FSs/CMSs/Remedial Designs and evaluating remedial
operations is desirable.
