We are searching for a Senior Facility Engineer for both
our Houston and Midland, TX locations. This position
will provide technical design services in oil and gas
production and transmission facility engineering
projects. Primary activities will be to design
industrial process piping systems and oil & gas
pipelines, production facilities, saltwater disposal and
injection facilities, railroad crude oil loading and
transfer facilities with associated equipment such as
pumps, valves and other in-line equipment in accordance
with industry and client standards. The successful
candidate will act as a Senior Facility Engineer in the
direction and guidance of staff engineers and designers
to complete complex projects and scopes of work in
accordance with purchase order requirements by
developing project plans, providing technical direction
and scheduling, interfacing with Client Project
Managers, government regulators and officials, other
contractors and other representatives. The candidate
will be required to oversee other technical design staff
and participate in the project management and design
activities of industrial and energy projects that
include piping and mechanical engineering. In addition,
the candidate will participate in client marketing
presentations, proposal and scope of work preparation
and related contract/project documentation preparation.

Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree or in Petroleum, Mechanical or
Chemical Engineering along with a minimum of 10 years of
related experience including detailed knowledge of oil
and gas industry and mechanical standards is required.
Professional registration or certification is a plus.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be
experienced in the participation in the preparation of
subcontractor procurement documents for mechanical and
related services as well as in the preparation of
equipment and construction specifications. Experience in
detailed design for construction and project
commissioning and completion is a requirement. The
candidate must have experience in pipe stress and pipe
flow software packages. Knowledge of CFR 192 and 195
Design Code from the Federal Design Requirement for DOT
Pipelines, liquid and gas helpful as well as an
understanding of API, DOT Tank regulations of 650 and
653 is required. The successful candidate will be
experienced in technical supervision and management,
staff personnel oversight and professional development
and training of subordinates. Industry references are
requested. Candidate must be able and available for
travel via land and/or air and possess a valid driver’s
license in good standing.
