The Senior HRIS Analyst reports directly to the HRIS Manager. The Senior HRIS Analyst will provide professional and technical support to users of HR Systems at all levels of the organization. Serve as a liaison with Information Technology to resolve system and programming related problems. Maintain data integrity of systems by running queries and analyzing data. Work on a variety of projects to support, maintain, and improve business processes and the associated PeopleSoft Applications. In addition, the Senior HRIS Analyst will be responsible for investigating and resolving end-user and system issues. The individual must develop a clear understanding of functional business processes and policies, work independently as well as in a team setting. The ideal candidate will have a can do attitude and the ability to make pragmatic and practical decisions without compromising the integrity of the PeopleSoft application.
Skills / Requirements
The following education and/or experience are the minimum standards which provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position:
Bachelors degree with major course work in human resources management, public adminstration, business administration or related field plus three years of PeopleSoft experience (HCM v9.x with core HCM, HR Benefits administration or Time and Labor or Absence) and advanced computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access or similar products.
High School Diploma or GED plus seven years of PeopleSoft experience (HCM v9.x with core HCM, HR Benefits administration or Time and Labor or Absence) and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access or similar products.
Essential Functions: Review and analyze operations procedures, processes, and problems to identify areas for improved workflow and reduction of customizations. Facilitate, coordinate and assist with all aspects of user acceptance testing. Prepare training materials as needed. Participate in design and implementation of new HR modules and other system enhancements. Interpret Human Resources policies and procedures; respond to requests for information and assistance from employees, management, outside agencies and the public As assigned, act as a project leader on projects - lead, plan and review the work of assigned project staff. Other duties as assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Key Competencies:
Experience with PeopleSoft including Query, and security administration.
The ability to gather requirements and perform analysis.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Analytical, independent, strategic thinker with the ability to quickly problems solve.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects.
MISC. REQUIREMENTS: Environmental Conditions:
Office environment; exposure to computer screens.
Essential and marginal functions require maintaining physical conditions necessary for sitting for prolonged periods of time.
