Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and training. Four years of administrative experience. Strong customer service skills. Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining excellent organizational relationships with a variety of public and private stakeholders.Excellent oral and written skills. Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets and database programs. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others in a project team environment. Ability to perform all tasks and job responsibilities safely without injury to self and others in compliance with A&M System and HSC guidelines.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s preferred and two years administrative experience with state and/or federal policy development, interpretation, and implementation; communicating policy to diverse audiences. Six years of administrative experience. Knowledge of national and State of Texas legislative processes; excellent organizational skills; ability to research and synthesize complex issues. Knowledge of the Texas 1115 Medicare Waiver Program. Experience in coordinating partnership activities between health care providers and community stakeholders. Knowledge of websites, use of Cascade server for updates/maintenance.

Job Detail:
Coordinate logistics and activities related to state and federal Medicaid initiatives to include but not limited to the redesigning and implementing of programs that facilitate program goals; plan and implement program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings and workshops; develop and oversee timelines for assigned projects; respond to inquiries regarding program offerings. Compile and synthesize policy information relevant to state and national Medicaid initiatives. Manage correspondence, documentation, and the archival of project information and data. Design and produce communication materials for a variety of audiences on HSC’s activities related to state and federal Medicaid initiatives. Provide technical assistance to IGT and provider representatives as needed. Coordinate the development and production of reports, including those on policy and evaluation, for submission to state and local leaders and stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.
