This position is responsible for all of the Company’s tax activities including tax compliance, corporate, direct/indirect, global tax (VAT, GST), state/local. The successful candidate will work with financial management within the Company and third party service providers.

Manage and work closely with our outside tax advisors.
Assist with the preparation of supporting documentation and workpapers for federal and state income tax returns.
Audits of federal and state income tax and state and local filings.
Use and property tax functions.
Accounting for income taxes (SFAS No. 109) in the US.
Transfer pricing and management fee arrangements.
Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes.
Prepare reconciliation of income tax accounts including current and deferred tax accounts.
Assist with financial statement audit of income tax provision, including preparing reporting package and financial statement disclosures.
Interact with finance and accounting, legal and other teams to gather necessary information for accurate tax reporting.
Research various tax positions.
Research projects include organization structures to optimize taxes for cash management and the effective tax rate of subsidiaries.
Work on special projects on an as needed basis.
What you bring to the role:
8-10 years of experience with a strong emphasis on tax accounting issues;
Bachelor’s degree requiredand a CPA and/or Masters in Taxation highly preferred
Big 4 experience is preferred at the manager level
Must have corporate tax structure experience particularly with international structures;
Experience with developing and executing on tax strategies in a high growth international environment
Ability to research tax issues and communicate simply to a broad audience, and ability to work with business partners
Expert understanding of tax requirements and exposures;
Ability to communicate/present issues in a clear and effective manner
Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries;
Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
Continuous improvement attitude; ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices;
Must be creative in solutions while always ensuring legality.

Articulating real-time status to Sr. Management as required;
