During our 3-month internship, you will:|
Learn the ins and outs of search engine optimization;
Develop--and own--a content marketing campaign from start to finish, and;
Network with industry professionals via email and social media (e.g. Google+, Twitter, etc).
Our business generates sales referrals for software companies. Central to our success is our ability to drive traffic to our website from Google and other search engines. We do this by developing high-quality content and sharing it on the Web, in social media and the blogosphere.
It’s a unique approach to marketing that combines the disciplines of journalism, search engine marketing and PR.
To succeed in this internship, you must have:
Great Internet research skills and a passion for the Web;
Superb attention to detail and proven organizational skills;
Strong writing ability to produce professional emails and compelling blog content, and;
Dogged determination with a subtle competitive streak.
Oh, and charisma. Hey, we gotta like you.
This is a paid internship requiring a minimum of 20 hours a week for eight to twelve weeks. You will be required to produce one video (or write one blog post), recruit 20 links, give a presentation to our marketing team about one aspect of SEO, help us build a network of industry bloggers and promote Software Advice content using Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter. At the end of your internship, you will walk away with more knowledge about SEO than any of your peers, recent graduates and first-time job seekers. Yes, they will be jealous. And, if you are awesome, there might be room for you to grow with our company beyond the internship.
