Atlanta-based healthcare software company has an immediate opening for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our growing marketing department and assume responsibility for the creation and implementation of key SEO strategies, including optimizing on-page site elements and site structure, content creation, off-page link building and awareness tactics. Ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years’ SEO experience.
As SEO Specialist you will be expected to:
Perform keyword research and analysis.
Conduct search engine ranking analysis and reporting.
Provide regular trend analysis and web analytics interpretation to identify opportunities and make appropriate campaign strategy adjustments.
Contribute to the planning, implementation, ongoing optimization of on-page site elements.
Be familiar with managing 301 redirects and other server response codes via the .htaccess file.
Monitor and manage regular progress of search engine campaign details including strategy & implementation, copywriting, budgets, and reporting.
Work with internal teams to help educate on the SEO process, its principles and best practices.
Collaborate with other disciplines within the marketing department to ensure that content is being published in a manner that provides maximum SEO benefit.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry current events and trends.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Strong inbound link building experience and knowledge.
Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithm and ranking strategies.
Basic knowledge of paid search tools and strategies as well as an awareness of emerging tactics and technology.
Basic knowledge of social media and social bookmarking platforms and their impact on organic SEO performance.
Basic knowledge of video content and video publishing platforms and their impact on organic SEO performance.
Experience with SEO for websites administered within a content management system (e.g. Drupal, WordPress) strongly preferred.
Ability to break down complex ideas/concepts/strategies to other team members.
Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Strong aptitude and interest in technology, the internet, & experience with a variety of platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3 - 5 years online advertising, content development, and SEO experience
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive, yet fun environment while managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
