A guest’s first experience with their server will set the tone for the entire visit to our location. Greet the guests with a smile and welcome them to the location. Be ready to answer any questions about our resort or any other Walt Disney World properties.
Point out the unique features of the location and use suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience.
Take beverage orders and serve them to the guests at the table. Proper service techniques are a must!
Assist guests with special needs, such as special handicap access.
Constantly monitor table to ensure proper service. Remove unneeded items, bring items that a guest may request or need. Handle guest issues with the highest professionalism and graciousness.
Bus tables after a guest leaves and set the table for the next guests. Quick turnover of tables is very important.
Assist with the appearance of the location during operation and assist in cleaning any area in the location that may need attention.
Operate POS registers, open/close checks, and maintain cash handling, including all forms of payment: cash, credit card, hotel charges, coupon and master accounts.
Follow up with the guests before they leave the location to ensure a positive lasting impression. Thank the guest for their patronage and invite them to return to the location again.
Complete all cash handling paperwork and cash out at the end of the shift. Maintain a tip log to properly report tips received in cash and with credit cards.
Assist with opening and/or closing tasks, including but not limited to, miscellaneous set up and/or cleaning of location. Maintain side work throughout the shift.
Assist managers and supervisors with any additional job duties with willingness and efficiency.
