This critical team member is responsible for managing and administering Broward College's SharePoint environments. This position provides the Application Services division with key technical capabilities including setup, upgrade and configuration of multiple SharePoint farms, setup, configuration of various SharePoint service applications, and proactive techniques to stabilize and optimize the environment. Additionally, this position will provide n-tier support for issues that should arise in the SharePoint environment, manage backups, security, updates and assist developers with solution deployment. Associate's Degree in related field required. Bachelor degree preferred.
Typically four to six years of relevant experience. At least one year experience in administering a multi-server Sharepoint 2010 environment. At least two years of Windows server 2008 and one year of Powershell Scripting experience. SQL Server 2008, SQL, Active Directory, SharePoint Designer experience preferred. A strong knowledge of branding and/or custom coding for User Interface enhancements in Sharepoint 2010 is required.
