This skilled engineer will provide a key function for the compliance team through definitive SI compliance testing expertise and will be responsible for an exciting, cutting-edge family of products. Additionally, this detail-oriented engineer will prepare and schedule test programs.

Primary responsibilities include performing Signal Integritgy compliance test procedures required for each high speed bus standards on each product. This includes determining the correct test setup and measurements required, ensuring that the tests are performed correctly, testing the product and completing the necessary paperwork, selecting and maintaining test equipment. Other responsibilities include establishing, implementing, coordinating and executing SI test plans throughout the development cycle for a product, tracking the new developments in the regulatory industry with respect to Signal Integrity compliance requirements, maintaining documentation and providing input on Signal Integrity compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have a BS degree, and 3+ years of high-volume consumer electronics experience as a SI test engineer. The candidate should have a working knowledge of Protocol and Link layer testing, high speed design, SI testing and design and SI standards requirements such as HDMI, USB, DP, etc. The candidate should have the ability to develop test plans, analyze compliance test data, write compliance test specifications/procedures and interpret standards for different interfaces. Ability to work with ambiguities is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to seamlessly work across groups and at all levels.
You must have:
 Working knowledge of Protocol Analyzer is important
 Experience of High Bandwidth scope measurements
 Test Experience with high speed bus standards such DDR2/3, USB2/3, DP, HDMI, etc
 Understanding and experience with TDR measurements
 A team orientation with superior interpersonal awareness
 Excellent written communication and presentation skills
 Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects
 Excellent problem solving techniques
 Strong organization and documentation abilities
 Ability to effectively define world-class processes in specifications and procedures
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
 Working productively and seamlessly as a member of a skilled team of SI design and test professionals
 Developing test procedures for Protocol and Link Layer testing
 Creating test plans and performing tests as per compliance standards
 Writing test reports
 Maintaining suitable test equipment
 Tracking the new developments in the high speed industry with respect to compliance requirements
Pluses:
 Experience with the VNA measurements for passive structures
 Experience of board probing station for VNA measurements
 Experience with board layout in Allegro or PADS
 PDN measurements with VNA and scope
 Experience with BERT and Logic Analyzer
 Experience in RF and EMC testing
 Experience with SI simulation software such as LTspice, hyperlynx, cadence, etc
