Southeast SIU Manager (MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, TN)
The SIU Manager is responsible for the front-line recruiting, hiring, training, and management of the field SIU investigative staff. Under the direction of the Regional Investigations Manager (RIM) the Manager is responsible for all aspects of the identification and recruitment of qualified SIU investigator candidates. The Manager must set the example and be a role model of compliance and superior performance. The Manager will train field staff on company policies, procedures, client interactio, etc. The Manager is responsible for appropriate billable work performed by themselves and their team members and will work with the RIM to ensure field contribution to an efficient field operation and profitability of the company. Under the guidance and specific direction of the RIM, the Manager has supervisory control of his/her team. The SIU Manager is responsible for monitoring investigator performance, operational efficiency, employee retention, and compliance with company policies within their region. The SIU manager also provides leadership to his/her investigative team to satisfactorily meet and exceed company expectations. The SIU Manager must understand the G4S vision and be able to communicate and implement all business strategies to realize that vision.
Skills & Experience Required:
5+ years insurance claims experience, with special consideration given to those with field adjusting experience in General Liability, Auto Liability, PIP, Homeowner, Small Commercial, and Workers Compensation areas;
3+ years experience handling injury claims, ability to review and analyze medical reports, identify suspected fraud;
Multi-line experience preferred. Experience in handling complex claims and suspected insurance fraud investigations.
Strong interpersonal skills, including significant interviewing experience to take in-depth and detailed recorded and written statements;
Strong computer skills using Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to learn new software operating systems.
Bachelors degree required, and advanced degree preferred. Substantial insurance industry SIU and technical insurance investigative experience may be substituted for the formal education requirement.
