Provide professional administrative assistant support to hospital administration. Provide general assistance to the departments of Quality Management and Nursing Administration. Provide coordination and support to the office of Medical Staff Affairs scheduling and attending medical staff committee meetings and providing agenda and minutes. Other administrative responsibilities include prioritizing work, screening calls and mail, maintaining supplies, providing prompt efficient service, etc.
Proficient typing, transcription, grammar skills, knowledge of office equipment and office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as obtained through formal secretarial training. Medical terminology and healthcare experience a plus. Service excellence skills are essential to this role.
A minimum of three years experience as an executive or administrative secretary.
