Provides clinical and professional leadership within the Department. Responsible for the evaluation, re-evaluation, development, and implementation of a plan of care.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Analytical ability necessary to evaluate patient condition, to interpret and analyze data, assess patient progress, and determine appropriate follow-up.
Must be able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families and co-workers.
Pediatric NDT certification and/or Doctoral degree preferred.
Requires the ability to problem solve to adapt standard clinical procedures to the individual client's need, and the ability to interpret, adapt and react calmly under stressful conditions.
Minimum Job Requirements: 5 years pediatric experience, having met advanced clinical practice criteria as dictated by the ASHA, a plus if individual has participated in research, program development or teaching appointments. CPR: Healthcare Provider Florida license or eligible for Florida licensure. Master Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certification of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Current membership in the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
