The largest business unit within PwC's Advisory Services, Products & Services Industries (P&SI) provides specialized business and technology consulting services to clients across several sectors by combining functional expertise with deep industry knowledge. P&SI serves public and private companies in the Automotive, Energy, Entertainment, Media, and Communications, Industrial Products, Private Equity, Retail and Consumer, Technology, and Utilities sectors. P&SI professionals also work with our clients' economic buyers (CEO, CFO, CIO, M&A Buyer, and VP of Human Resources) in any industry sector to frame and address emerging issues. The architecture teams participate on a variety of engagements, including Business and IT Strategies, IT Assessments, Architecture Blueprinting, and Solution Delivery engagements and we differentiate ourselves with our detail-oriented focus and collaborative working style to deliver the highest quality work products.
Demonstrates considerable knowledge of business strategy with a proven record of translating strategic goals that consider the primary implications to IT functions, technology & architecture.
Demonstrates considerable knowledge of, and a proven record of success with, advising clients in defining and implementing technology solutions, conceptualizing and designing solutions and/or application architecture including but not limited to the following areas:
Demonstrate considerable knowledge and understanding of technical architectures and product knowledge used to support the creation of client solutions ideally on teams supporting the following areas of the software development lifecycle:
- Business Strategies
- IT Strategies,
- IT Assessments,
- Architecture Blueprints,
- Solution Delivery engagements
Demonstrates a proven record of success and considerable knowledge in roles within a professional services firm or large enterprise that support a team servcing clients including:
- Support and Maintenance
- Assisting team with documenting requirements,
- Solution architecture,
- Technical design,
- Development of proof of concepts,
- Development as per technical design,
- Providing deployment support
Demonstrates proven thorough abilities within a professional services firm or large enterprise as a team member that services clients, including:
Demonstrates proven thorough levels of ability, both as an individual contributor and team member, to identify and address client needs: actively participate in client discussions and facilitating meetings; communicate a broad range of Firm services; utilize effective written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with team members and/or clients in a professional setting; and, manage engagements, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues.
- Establishing operational readiness associated with large-scale business solutions
- Managing mixed teams of clients, contractors, off-shore firms
- Selecting technology and managing vendor relationships
- Technology and implementation planning and cost estimating
