We are currently staffing for our POS software division and are seeking a Solution Consultants Manager to assume responsibility for managing a staff of 5 and leading the Retailer Implementation Solution Consulting Department and staff. This position oversees the overall functions related to the sales and implementation of RTG software, as well as overall account management once the Retailer goes live.' This position is accountable for hiring and developing Solution Consultants, Conversion Specialists and Installation Technicians to support the needs of Retailers. This Team will serve as the primary point of contact for Retailers utilizing RTG software and will play a key role in the development and ongoing relationship management with the Retailers. You will also oversee the installation and conversion processes for all retailer implementations.
Specifically, you will:
Develop an expert working knowledge of the RTG Retailer Solution and other AcuSport software offerings.
Work with RTG department leaders to identify core competencies of RTG employees and required training needs.
Lead Solution Consultants to meet/exceed annual business plan within communicated budgetary guidelines.
Ensures customer satisfaction is met through follow-up, client responsiveness and thorough communication.
Ensure Solution Consultants provide timely and compelling demonstrations of the RTG software to interested retailers.
Create partnerships with AcuSport Regional Managers and Sales Professionals to create a team of advisors for retailers who purchase RTG software and utilize AcuSport for their distributor needs.
Monitor activities of Solution Consultants to ensure optimal relationship building is occurring with retailers.
Identify, communicate and track opportunities for improvement to the Solution Consultant
Ensure the sales and implementation approach is utilized while allowing for flexibility as needed.
Work closely with both the retailers and RTG Management to measure satisfaction with retailer implementations
Evaluate and report implementation metrics including but not limited to sales, installation and conversions
Provide status reports of all current implementations as they move through the phases of the implementation to ensure on time delivery
Make recommendations for changes to increase customer and/or employee satisfaction.
Communicate RTG retailer needs, requirements and issues to analysis, support and development teams.
Represent RTG at trade shows and business conferences as necessary.
Qualified candidates will possess an undergrad degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or Business (or equivalent in work experience) as well as at least 7 years of progressive experience in software sales and implementation with at least 3 of those years in a management capacity.
Additionally, you will possess:
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and interviewing skills.
Demonstrate competence in achieving personal and team goals.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in CRM Software (SalesForce.com, ACT, etc.).
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (tradeshows, retailer visits, group trainings, etc.).
Creative problem solving skills
Vendor Management Experience preferred but not required.
