Assists the Executive Chef with the overall culinary operations of the locations and ensuring guest satisfaction.


Five or more years culinary experience

Three or more years supervisory experience

Postsecondary culinary arts degree required

Food safety certification

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills


Supervises all culinary hourly staff

Daily operational needs (requisitions, supplies)

Training and property orientation (including location specific training and all state required training)

Ensures safe operating procedures are utilized in all kitchen areas and with all equipment

Oversees scheduling, maintaining of cast member attendance records, time card corrections and/or payroll corrections

Training of staff in food preparation methods for nutrient retention and special dietary needs

Ensuring effective cast member communications related to business needs

Controlling food costs by establishing purchasing specifications, standardized recipes and waste control procedures

Controls labor costs utilizing budget, forecast and business needs

Compliance with all HACCP requirements (including maintaining of documentation, training of staff)

Compliance with all company and union guidelines and policies

Compliance with WDW appearance guidelines (show quality of outlet, Disney Look of staff)

Inventory controls

Supervise presentation of the plates

Take disciplinary actions

All other duties as assigned
