Join the Supply Chain Management department and support our
mission to provide high quality services. This department cleans,
prepares, assembles, sterilizes, distributes, and ensures the quality
of all surgical instruments and medical equipment. As the
state's only specialty hospital, Kapi’olani is recognized as
Hawai'i's leader in the care of women and children. As the major
teaching hospital for the state’s OB/GYN program, Kapi’olani has a
highly trained team of physician specialists, nurses, technologists
and therapists that share a special understanding of women's needs.

The SPD Aide distributes surgical instruments and
specific medical equipment according to established procedures and
techniques. Inventories and replenishes medical supplies via various
distribution systems. Transports supplies, equipment, and potentially
hazardous waste within the hospital.

High School or equivalent.

Six months SPD or central
processing related experience. Current National Central Supply
Technician Certification.
