TEAM Enterprises is an event and promotional marketing agency that is looking for a full time Special Events Manager in Las Vegas, NV. The main responsibility of the SEM is to execute special events to both the consumer and the trade. The SEM will be responsible for increasing the visibility and acceptability of the client’s brands while increasing sales and building brand loyalty, through traditional and nontraditional methods.
General Responsibilities:
Report to TEAM Enterprises management while keeping open lines of communication with client and distributor
Convey expectations and goals of the focus brand
Execute special events in conjunction with Client marketing
Track performance and market trends in assigned region, benchmark against competition, and provide feedback to your RM or DM through meetings and website
Manage TEAM local office and one part time worker
Event Responsibilities:
Meet regularly with the local client to recap events and evaluate effectiveness
Communicate all event standards and execution guidelines
Staff and properly train all promotional talents and waitstaff members on brand knowledge prior to events
Make sure that all waitstaff members know the product and is aware of the event
Implement and execute all event functions and activities, while maximizing sales
Create relationships with all promoters, staff and media
Attend events (100% visitation when possible)
Serve as a brand rep at trade and consumer events
Provide support of corporate events for client HQ
Manage inventory and event materials
Warehouse management
Mixology Responsibilities:
Work with on-premise accounts and groups to build client portfolio loyalty
Brand education and waitstaff trainings to increase awareness of client portfolio
Account specific drink development and ideation
Brand education and waitstaff trainings
Administrative Responsibilities:
Provide TEAM with proper paper work on all sub-contractors and talent
Manage your event budgets and provide estimates to client
Provide the client with a quarterly review of all event activity within that quarter
Provide TEAM and client bi-weekly calendar updates and competitive activity updates
Create post-event recaps and submit to TEAM and client on a timely basis
Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution required
1-2 years exp in the beverage industry
1-2 years exp in promotional marketing or event execution
1-2 years sales experience
Bartending experience preferred
Typical work week varies from week to week to include nights and weekends
Knowledge/Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint); must be internet savvy
Ability to work in a team setting, interacting with key agencies/departments
Professional appearance and self presentation; candidate must uphold the core values of the portfolio
Ability to professionally articulate best practices and trends back to the client
Must have the ability to gather information, analyze information and report key insights with recommendations for solutions
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, motivational and organizational skills.

Upon first day of work employee must be residing in their assigned market area, or, within a reasonable distance from their territory. Reasonable distance is to be determined on a case by case basis and is subject to TEAM Enterprises discretion based on business needs.
