Looking for a Senior Consultant. In Person Interview.
Reviews user requests for system modifications, processes improvements, reports requirements, and recommends best solution for achieving desired results. Assists with developing specialized reports. Meets the established requirements documented for functionality, interfaces, and reports. Coordinates and conducts business process reviews to capture the current state of the process, identify problems, develop and evaluate solutions, and apply new process to software systems. Conducts software training Works with the Basis2 programmers to develop the WRAP application within Basis2 / Oracle Writes and maintains WRAP (MS SQL) and Basis2 (Oracle) software systems documentation and provides reference materials and support/help desk to end users. Configures, updates, and edits system administration tables to support process requirements, maintain data integrity and meets users' needs. Conducts initial system troubleshooting and recommends resolution to end-user Test upgrades and software modifications; and coordinate the installation of new releases to end-users with various City Agencies, ensuring compatibility with all corporate applications. Works continually towards self-development to stay current on system operations, information management software and computer science related procedures and practices.
Bachelors degree in Business Management, Information Systems Management or Computer Science is required. Nine to ten years of related experience and/or training is required, including the administration of client-server software applications, relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle), Oracle eBusiness, PL SQL, table structures, end-user support, training, troubleshooting , project management, conducting business process reviews, and workflow modeling Demonstrated ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Demonstrated proficiency with relational databases (MS SQL and Oracle), Oracle eBusiness, PL SQL, JAVA, table structures, querying functionality, report writing; software troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to anticipate and meet rapidly changing customer and business needs by quickly refocusing and realigning strategic and operational direction. Demonstrated business and technical writing skills. Demonstrated ability to research and understand issues, identify and solves problems, and to think analytically and logically. Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology to meet business needs.
