Job Responsibilities:
Development on SQL Server 2008, Creating complex analytic queries, writing stored procedures, triggers and functions, generating code for ETL function, performance tuning of queries, design & develop database objects, such as tables, indexes, constraints, etc.
Develop and design web pages in .NET, Analyze query execution plans and optimize database code
Requirements:
Strong experience with SQL Server Development and experience with SQL Server 2008 (highly desired)
Strong knowledge and experience with database design, performance tuning, query optimization, indexes, data migration tools, and data analysis
Extensive knowledge of T-SQL; writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions
Thorough understanding of database modeling
Working knowledge of C# or VB.NET
Desire to lead projects, as well as be able to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task
Solid analytical and problem solving ability
Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
