A global leader in the health and wellness category, has an immediate position open for a full-time Web Store Specialist. This role will be responsible for all aspects in our US online store and will be measured against its overall revenue and profitability. The ideal candidate should possess a merchandising background, technical proficiency, analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the best practices for the e-Commerce industry.
: Day-to-day supervision of the store operations driving revenue through online acquisition marketing, site merchandising, site optimization, promotions, experimentation, personalization and content management.
: Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities to increase sales
: Identify opportunities and recommend new opportunities to enhance sales.
: Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing Communications teams to promote new products and best sellers, cross-sell related products to highlight new promotions.
: Coordinate with Product Management and Marketing Communications Teams to manage the catalog of products by adding and removing products as necessary; maintain accurate release dates and pricing.
: Work with various internal departments (marketing communications, web producers, web applications, and product managers) to develop and execute integrated marketing promotions. Attend key product marketing meetings to identify opportunities for integrated marketing.
: Track promotions and analyze site metrics to connect web behavioral profiles to customer, sales, and merchandising data.
: Site optimization -design, run, and analyze A/B, funnel and other testing to determine and implement site capability and user experience improvements as well as optimal merchandising programs.
: Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and cost tracking
: Report monthly sales performance
: Forecasts sales for new releases and weekly inventory for the Web Store in close communication with our supply chain team
: Reviews and approves invoices from e-commerce vendors providing shipping, handling, customer service, web development and site hosting
: Weekly sales, inventory reporting, and other projects as assigned.
: Continual improvement of process and capabilities of the store
: Improves business processes by collaborating with vendors, colleagues, and other internal functional teams
: Keep abreast of market trends, consumer trends, competition, customer service issues, and eCommerce technology and dynamics.
: Be the primary contact for all opportunities and issues related to the online store
Desired Skills & Experience
: 3-5 years of related work experience, with some prior E-Commerce experience preferred
: Experience working in a customer-focused environment and demonstrated ability to create systems and procedures to accomplish customer satisfaction
: Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.
: Well-organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is able to work autonomously within a dynamic environment
: Proficiency with XHTML, HTML & Photoshop is beneficial
: Strong affinity for the game industry and its products
: College degree preferred
