Develop organizational (foundation and corporation) prospect recommendations for the Corporate Relations and Foundation Relations offices. Search award programs and funding interests and match them to University needs. Write profiles and reports on foundations and corporations and their history of contact with Boston University. Maintain accurate information in the departmental database on the organizations with whom there has been contact.
Requires: B.A./B.S., Masters degree preferred, strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, good independent judgment, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, strong problem solving and project management skills, the ability to analyze information using standard and advanced research methods and to present results in an academic environment, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, proficiency using browsers, search engines, and databases, and three to five years of experience, preferably in research or database management.
