About the Team:
Join STG, Inc. and watch your career soar as a Classification Specialist (HR), in a role supporting the O ffice of the Secretary at Department of State in the Office of Global Women's Issues. Our Customer requires the services of a contractor with experience in Position Classification, Organizational Analysis, Staffing, and Performance Management.

S/GWI solicits assistance to provide centralized program support that encompasses analyzing the current organizational structure to prepare position descriptions, evaluation statements, and associated documentation. This assistance requires the accurate description of expanded functions and duties within S/GWI. It also requires expert position management and realignment responsibilities.

About the Job:
Provide the following: Position Classification, Organizational Analysis, and Staffing related services to DOS S/GWI

Review Department of State's current authorized organizational strucutre, projected funded staffing level, functional authorities, and available resources. Reseasrch the functions performed and proposed for authorization in 1 FAM for client organizations for which HR conducts position classification services.

Provide advice on position managment and staffing options to achieve optimal efficiencies, promote the Department's effectiveness, and conform to applicable laws, regulations, directives, standards, and guidelines for the Civil Service and Foreign Service, in general, and the client bureau, in particular.

Research work authorized and performed by direct hire Civil Service and Foreign Service personnel as well as statements of work for contractors in client bureaus.

Minimum Qualifications:
An Experienced classification specialist at a professional level equivalent to a GS13.
At least 5 years of experience in Federal Government Human Resources Services.
Experience in writing, editing, classifying PDs for various occupational services.
Must be a self starter and able to work effectively with minimum supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
An Experienced classification specialist at a professional level equivalent to a GS14.
At least 8 years of experience in Federal Government Human Resources Services.
Experience in writing, editing, classifying PDs for various occupational services.
Must be a self starter and able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
