ENERCON is seeking experienced project managers with proven track records of identifying, winning and successfully managing engineering work in the US commercial nuclear industry. The successful candidate will be assigned a utility client(s), and will work to identify the client's engineering needs. ENERCON will provide significant support to the right candidate to generate new business, and then actively manage that business successfully. The ideal candidate is searching for a full-time position that enables a skilled project manager the ability to accelerate their career through growing ENERCON's business relationships.
This position requires both business development and project management skill-sets.
Once the work is successfully awarded, the Project Manager is responsible for managing projects or a group of related projects. Responsibilities include, as applicable, project initiation and project plan development, client interaction, personnel training, scheduling and fiscal management of assigned projects, and Quality Assurance program implementation for projects. In addition, the project manager will be responsible for proposal scoping and development.
The Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of routine and higher level technical work performed for assigned projects and ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved within established schedules and scope definitions. The Project Manager works with Discipline Engineering to ensure completion of the assigned project work on schedule and on budget.
(education, skills, certifications, licenses):
Accredited engineering or applied science degree (BSME, BSEE, BSCE)
Minimum Project Management experience, 8-10 years for the Nuclear Industry
Work location at an ENERCON regional office or at a client site
Willing to do moderate travel
Excellent communication skills
