The Senior Financial Cost Analyst maintains the Cost Accounting system for profitability analysis utilizing RVU’s at the charge code level based on actual cost studies.
The Sr. Financial Cost Analyst updates costs annually, develops costs for new charge codes.
Prepares financial feasibility studies.
Maintains productivity reports and submits quarterly data to “Action O-I productivity benchmarking system”.
Assists in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and analyzes budget variances for all revenues and expenses.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Economics required; Masters in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred.
Must have three (3) years of cost accounting in a healthcare facility
five (5) years’ work experience in Finance, Budgeting or Cost Accounting.
Must be proficient in Excel or similar software.
Must have basic skills in Word and Lotus Notes, or similar software.
Must have strong analytical and communication skills.
Must have working knowledge of budget systems, cost analysis, financial statement preparation, and statistical review.
