We are looking for an experienced high performing HR partner to serve as an Org Aligned HR Manager supporting clients within the EPG organization.
Microsoft’s Enterprise and Partner Group (EPG) is tasked with ensuring that our enterprise customers realize the most value from their investments with Microsoft. We are made up of over 7000 sellers and managers spread across over 80 subsidiaries. EPG is responsible for the selling of Microsoft products, services, and solutions to large (enterprise) customers worldwide. WW EPG (1000 FTEs) helps lead the sales strategies for the subsidiary sales teams (the field) and also influences the product development groups by providing customer and partner feedback. WW EPG continues to be a growth business for Microsoft.
Our HR team is committed to providing a high quality, effective partnership with the WW EPG teams. This role will provide you with the opportunity to:
Impact the WW EPG organization to help achieve both the organization and Microsoft’s goals.
Coach leaders and managers to maximize the effectiveness of their teams and individuals and solve for complex organizational issues
Analyze and present people metrics to leadership teams to inform sound talent and business decisions
Guide managers through talent movement decisions and execution
Onboard and integrate new managers and employees
Execute high-touch engagement for diverse and high potential employees in support of their development
Partner with leaders to build people manager capability through people, experiences, and education
The HR Manager is accountable for successful delivery of HR Programs:
Identification of Key Talent and driving delivery of local programs for this population, following direction from the COE regarding line / center program responsibilities
Collaboration with HR Leadership to design talent planning solutions that will fulfill the HR Plan and serve the business.
Support delivery of People Review for the business through research and delivery of inputs to the People Review deck.
Consultation with clients and HR Leadership team to deliver planned organizational changes
Development of change management plans, management of communications and re-deployment and force reduction.
Partner with and coach leaders and managers to facilitate organization and culture change

Passion for coordinating talent, thinking long-term and identifying capabilities needed for the future
Ability to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and achieve results in a fast-paced, heavily-matrix team environment
Ability to work well within an HR team to establish and integrate many of Microsoft’s well established people agenda initiatives, while also creating new programs and contributing to best practices across the organization.
Qualified candidates will have:
5+ years of directly applicable HR experience or an equivalent combination of advanced training and experience in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders
Understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to think strategically and problem solve
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and analytical skills
Solid track record of implementing HR projects and change programs
Demonstrated competence in employee relations and knowledge of employment laws (i.e. EEOC guidelines, FLSA and ADA) required.
Strong oral and written communication, project and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Human Resources preferred.
