Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center, Belmont MA, a nationwide resource funded by the National Institutes of Health. This position requires experience in handling postmortem human brain tissue. The position involves a range of specialized duties that includes: 1) supervision of the staff involved in arranging for the donation of postmortem brains2) maintenance of an "on call" system for the referral of brain donations3) training and supervision of dissectionists who process brains after hours and on weekends4) direct responsibility for all aspects of tissue processing, including the maintenance of the facilities for the -80¿C freezers, their alarms and back-up CO2systems5) handling of requests from neuroscientists around the U.S. and abroad for postmortem brain tissue.
MS Required. PhD applicants are welcome to applyMinimum 7-Years progressively more responsible research work experience. Prior supervisory experience required
