The person in this position will have responsibility for creating, managing, maintaining and updating the MOSART Data System. Specific functions include the use of SAS and other statistical software to execute, enhance and develop probabilistic and deterministic record linkage algorithms to create a new data system which links together multiple existing data sources. The person in this position will also create analytic files for specific analytic projects. Other responsibilities include performing data manipulation tasks including creating new data elements, calculations, de-identifying data elements, prepares specialized data files for specific analyses, and generating data reports for the research team (univariate/bivariate datatables).

Required Skills

BA/BS minimum; MA/MPH preferred (Public health, biostatistics, epidemiology or related field).

3-5 years experience with SAS programming.

Experience using SAS macros and SQL. (Knowledge of other programming software a plus.) Experience using large, administrative databases.
