With our move to the cloud the IT organization plays a significant and strategic role for the company and the Staffing organization plays a key role in meeting those business goals. Additionally, this staffing leader would be part of a broader HR team as MSIT is a combined org with MS Operations and SMSG Finance. This affords this individual the unique opportunity to partner closely with colleagues from different teams and to share/leverage best practices and learning’s.
Reporting to the Staffing Director for SMSG Finance, MS Operations and MSIT, the MS IT Staffing Manager has the lead responsibility to define and execute the talent acquisition agenda for MSIT. This role is responsible for the following core Accountabilities:
1.) Partner with Business Leaders, HR, international and campus partners to define the talent acquisition strategy & plan for MSIT globally as a critical component of our overall People Agenda
2.) Direct talent attract actions to generate talent pipeline linked to long-term talent acquisition plan and business strategy
3.) Lead all talent selection activity and agenda for assigned client groups maximizing quality of hire as defined by business and organization plan
4.) Based on understanding of business strategy, anticipate future talent needs and direct talent sourcing and talent intelligence actions
5) Drive creative sourcing strategy, build staffing success through social media, development of our brand and innovative staffing initiatives that maintain our leading edge
5.) Lead direct and in-direct staffing team assigned to MSIT, demonstrating excellent people management skills and leadership behaviors. Active member of broader SMSG staffing leadership team.
Qualifications include a minimum of 7-10 years of talent acquisition/ talent management experience with 5 years progressive HR/staffing management experience strongly preferred. Additional skills requirements and experiences include:
Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering talent strategies for a competitive business is required.
Expertise in talent management including understanding of talent acquisition, talent assessment and selection, workforce planning, and its impact on overall business strategy.
Demonstrated track record of excellent client engagement and business partnership
Experience partnering with senior business leadership, HR, finance, and the greater staffing organization in order to drive the staffing agenda and deliver against a high volume business.
Cross-group collaboration with exceptional problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills; experience working in close partnership with all HR partners as part of OneHR team.
