Staffing Specialists spend a majority of their day supporting multiple, remote recruiters in a high production environment and assist in the staffing for internal/external, non-exempt and exempt level positions. A successful Staffing Specialist is extremely organized, prioritizes and manages their workload, excels in time management, and is consistent and thorough in their communication with our recruiting team. They are self-motivated individuals who enjoy and thrive in a fast paced work environment, while being flexible and adaptable to the varying needs of the recruiting team. They work with a sense of urgency in completing work order requests from recruiters and work with a deep level of integrity and credibility. Performance Objectives:

Production Goals: Working in a high production environment, Specialists are expected to process work orders as quickly as possible without sacrificing accuracy or quality. A highly productive Specialist will be able to process over 40 items per day while working on a variety of work orders throughout the day.

Customer Service: Specialists work closely with over 25 different recruiters across the U.S., and must be flexible and adaptable to each recruiter’s requests. Clear communication and building a solid partnership with the recruiting team is critical to being successful in this position.

Candidate Experience: Exceptional Specialists strive to “WOW” our candidates when conducting outbound calls to qualified candidates by calling them in a timely manner, confirming job posting requirements, answering their questions, and making welcome calls to new hires prior to starting.

Computer Skills: Staffing Specialists must be extremely proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Specialists will also be using HR online tools to onboard selected new hires and multiple online recruiting tools to track and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Attention to Detail/Accuracy of Work: Specialists are expected to have 100% accuracy when dispositioning candidates in the online recruiting system, onboarding new hires in the HR system, creating and emailing offer letters to new hires, preparing new hire documentation, submitting and tracking background cases, and completing and auditing job folders.

General Recruiting Support: Other duties may include, but are not limited to: emailing job postings to community and diversity outreach contacts; entering, updating and maintaining employee referrals via a tracking log for assigned call centers; preparing and assisting with onsite and offsite job fairs as needed; assisting recruiters with sourcing in an effort to attract passive candidates; performing recruiter job functions as a back-up when necessary should hiring volumes dramatically increase (e.g. assist with phone screens); lead/participate in assigned recruiting projects; assist in the implementation and administration of company employment policies, procedures and programs; and research, review, analyze, and recommend actions from various specialized reports.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years clerical experience or 1+ years recruiting experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume production environment with a strong sense of urgency to meet strict deadlines and performance goals.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable to a constantly changing environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral, electronic and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with proven expertise in Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a broad team environment.
  • Proven ability to recognize and maintain confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Human Resources department.
  • Recruiting process knowledge.
  • Knowledge in HR systems, Staff Management and Online recruiting.
