This position is located in the Department of Biostatistics, jointly housed in the College of Public Health and Health Professions and the College of Medicine.
Primary responsibilities include data management, statistical analysis, and generation of interim reports for pediatric cancer clinical trials run by the Children’s Oncology Group ( COG ).
1) design and manage data file systems from clinical trials and specimen banks that include multiple data sets
2) conduct statistical data analyses (descriptive statistics, tests of association, survival analysis) and interpret results
3) participate in forms development for data collection
4) collaborate with faculty and staff in drafting scientific reports, conference abstracts and presentations, and journal articles
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
