Washes dishes, utensils, large pots/pans and other kitchen equipment for various eating establishments throughout the property. Cleans, sanitizes and details various kitchen areas and guest common areas. Provides a safe, comfortable, enjoyable and clean dining environment for guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide timely service, coordinating work with back-of-the-house employees and other co-workers.
Wash all dishes, utensils, large pots/pans & other kitchen equipment.
Deep cleaning responsibilities.
Keep areas clean at all times.
Clean hoods and filters.
Sweep and mop floors.
Wash floor mats and clean carpets.
Clean and change fryers and shortening.
Sanitize all shelves.
Clean floor drains, stoves, ovens and refrigerators.
Clean light fixtures, exhaust vents and walls.
Take out trash.
Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with guests and staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. One year experience in the proper use of strong cleaning chemicals. Stewarding and/or Sanitation experience within a hotel or food & beverage establishment preferred.
Requires Food Workers Certificate prior to first day worked.
