Position hours: Monday - Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 9am-5pm . Coordinate the operations and logistics associated with student and faculty support for synchronous web conferencing associated with online degree programs supported by the Office of Distance Education. Act as primary point of contact for facilitators and faculty ensuring live online sessions work seamlessly. Manage relationships between the Office of Distance Education and various academic departments and their faculty. Provide training for instructors and facilitators on the use of the synchronous online tool and guidance on how to effectively communicate with students online. Collaborate with others on the team to solve problems and establish systems and procedures. Create training materials and assist training team to ensure that our best practices for quality online synchronous delivery are cutting edge.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., strong attention to detail, excellent technical ability, writing and overall communication skills, professionalism and strong customer service and problem-solving skills, the ability to think quickly on your feet, and to escalate issues when required, multi-tasking, and the ability to empathize with the student yet also represent the interests of the University, effective negotiation skills, the ability to work independently and also be team oriented, personal initiative to continually improve students' online experience and program satisfaction, and one to three years of experience.
