CBE Companies has an immediate opening for a Supervisor of Collection Training. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong communication skills, be detail/goal oriented, have ability to work a flexible schedule and possess strong analytical skills. The core hours of the position are Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm, but must be willing to work the Primetime shift of 2 pm to 10 pm if needed for New Hire Training.
The Supervisor of Collector Training is responsible for creating; implementing and maintaining an on-going training program that prepares and teaches our collection staff how to collect money respectfully, efficiently and successfully. Our initial three week intensive New Hire Training Program is aimed at maximizing performance results by developing and empowering the individuals who are joining CBE as collectors.
Classroom Training or Leadership Experience required
Must be proficient in Word and Power Point, Excel knowledge a plus

Prior experience training and teaching
Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively

Excellent communication skills which would include making presentations in front of large groups of people as well as one-on-one coaching and developing
The ability to teach collection skills in a methodical and systematic way
Must demonstrate the ability to manage large and small groups of people in a classroom environment
Must have a self-motivated personality with the ability to transfer your energy and enthusiasm to large and small groups
Strong desire to help others succeed both personally and professionally
Drive for excellence and passion for continuous improvement
Some Duties of the Position:
§ Conduct 3 week new-hire collections training for classes that range from 5 to 30 Collectors
§ Teach and educate new hires on the various systems used in the collections call center
§ Coordinate and facilitate the bi-annual education and testing of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) and the annual Privacy and Security Training and any client specific required trainings as needed.
§ Implement policies and procedures in the training environment
§ Develop sound practices in new employees to be used once they are released from the classroom
§ Be a leader by example
§ Review course material and recommend changes, additions or deletions to enhance the effectiveness of the program; update course materials as directed
§ Facilitate course/event set-up, including preparation and production of course materials and evaluations; maintain appropriate attendance records and rosters
§ Act as the supervisor for new hires while they are engaging in new hire training
§ Mentor, coach, and evaluate new hires to ensure classroom training success
§ Review and act on evaluation data and feedback to improve the delivery of training
§ Conduct quality assurance (QA) monitoring of new hires for first 90 days to ensure high quality, professionalism, and learning of FDCPA and Company standards, maintains updated training manuals for you specific portfolios.
