In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
- The primary purpose of this position is to
perform receipt, storage, issue, and replenishment of technical equipment, office furniture, office machines, and/or other nonexpendable property and a wide variety of supplies.
- Provides supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for equipment, parts, and a wide variety of supply items.
- Maintains property accounts and records, completing individual transactions, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files.
- Performs document control work involved in the processing of supply/equipment transactions.
Provides assistance to customers, storage depots, or other organizations.
Performs general clerical support work.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships.
: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-05) or equivalent. Specialized experience must include
knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to the specific functions assigned.

(TIG) Requirement for General Schedule (GS) Positions: Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-05
or higher grade (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil Service to be considered for referral. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods.
Knowledge of policies and procedures for requisitioning and stock control.
Knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures.
Knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system.
Ability to research, compile, and analyze supply information and data; receive, screen, review, verify, and maintain supply documents; and resolve discrepancies.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to represent the organization in a business like manner.

Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
