Job Summary This position will work independently and serve as a member of a larger team. This position will primarily focus on Windows systems administration tasks specifically LANDesk. This position will be responsible for planning a new deployment of LANDesk for the College, working with fellow team members to execute that plan, and administering the implementation.

In addition to the LANDesk role, this position will work with a team to address critical aspects of support for servers (physical and virtual), SANs (iSCSI and Fibre Channel), networking, and service delivery across the College; this includes supporting the operating system, applications, hardware, and peripherals. This position should be knowledgeable about securing services as well as compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, GLBA and other relevant regulations. This position requires strong knowledge of network protocols and experience troubleshooting both wired and wireless networking. This position will serve as a Domain Network Liaison for multiple units and will be responsible for populating and updating DHCP entries under their purview. This position should have a strong understanding of enterprise virtualization and hardware technology, directory services, network management and monitoring, business continuity planning, disaster recovery implementations, and life-cycle management.

As a senior member of the Systems Management Team, there may be expectations of supervising and/or coaching junior members. This position will track requests in a ticketing system and participate in the College-level helpdesk. This position will be expected to attend meetings, create documentation, contribute to Franklin OIT standards/practices, and train clients. Minimum Qualifications SEE IT MATRIX.
