The SaaS Direct Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers for our SaaS billing and monetization solution called “Metanga”. Working out of our Waltham, MA headquarters, the SaaS Direct Sales Representative will work an assigned geographic territory to identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities.

A proven closer, able to garner commitments from prospects at every stage of the sales process
Achieve or exceed assigned quota
Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve/exceed individual software quota
Build strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within prospect accounts
Manage multiple customer sales opportunities simultaneously
Consistently build and deliver an accurate pipeline and forecast using Salesforce.com
Quickly learn new software products and clearly communicate their value proposition
Manage effective working relationships with Sales Engineers and other peers as necessary
Prepare and deliver highly-impressive and differentiated presentations and product demos
Proactively obtain prospect’s requirements, seek out and effectively address objections
Understand the difference between Metanga’s solutions and the competition’s
Able to clearly articulate the benefits of the Metanga SaaS based billing solutions to all levels
Support marketing activities at tradeshows and conventions, as necessary
7+ years’ experience as an enterprise software Sales Representative, with ecommerce, billing financial, or payments software experience a strong plus
Comfortable and skilled in presenting to executive-level business and technical audiences.
Must possess a high acumen for problem-solving background
Superb presentation and software demonstration skills
Excellent written and verbal communications
Have a broad understanding and be able to articulate the benefits of SaaS
Generally knowledgeable of technology; able to work with technical and non-technical people
Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
