Job also entails painting, insulating, and general clean up.QUALIFICATIONS(Consideration may be given for equivalent knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience)High School diploma or general education degree (GED).Two years carpentry experience.Experience in insulation installation (batts and blow in).General working knowledge of residential plumbing and electrical systems.Provide own personal tools. Power tools will be supplied.Valid Alaska Driver's license and good driving record.Preferred QualificationsExperience in lead paint abatement.Mechanical experience.Welding experience.Knowledge and experience working with Alaska Native/American Indian people.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInstall replacement doors and windows.Hang and finish sheetrock.General painting.Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.Complete work assignments as directed from Safehome Construction Specialist and Coordinator.Performs other duties as assigned.This Job Description reflects Kenaitze Indian Tribe's best effort to describe the essential functions and qualifications of the job described.
