Reporting to the Vice-President of Safety, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the safety department support to all internal and external clients, including employees, supervisory staff, and regulatory agency staff. Duties shall include providing direction and interpretation of regulations, administer drug and alcohol collections, coordinate emergency support for accidents, injuries, and spills / releases, and to report on all shift activities for follow-through by staff during regular business hours.
•Superior demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, required.
•Basic understanding of DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations, preferred.
•Supervision of staff experience, preferred.
•No corrective action on file for the last twenty-four (24) months, required.
•No attendance corrective action on file for the last twenty-four (24) months, required.
