The Safety Coordinator provides advanced level administrative support to the Safety Director and overall liaison support to the Safety Division and Beacon clients. Safety Coordinator supports with the development and implementation of new systems, client performance reports and programs and databases that support all areas of safety operations as well as coordination of travel and scheduling for Safety Division.
Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential to this position. Must have the aptitude to listen, learn and develop in the field of Safety & Health. Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal form required. Safety Coordinator will have the desire to expand their knowledge base in Safety and grow into a Safety Consultant performing Industrial Hygiene monitoring.

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for performing the following tasks:
Field Glass Quality Assurance Administrator
Industrial Hygiene Consultin
Safety Team Scheduling
Safety Team Database management
HSE Division Website Mgmt
Beacon Bits (Newsletter) Chairperson
Safety Program Development (with assistance from Safety Director)
Monthly Client Reporting (i.e. BP, ConocoPhillips Man-hours Reports)
Other Duties as Necessary
Job Requirements - Education and Training:
High school education required
Four Year College Degree Preferred
Safety Experience Preferred
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Must have corrected vision for computer entry
Must be able to lift 35bs
This position is a 40-hour +/M-F position
This position requires occasional overtime on evenings and/or weekends.
On occasion there will be a need for travelling, normally 12 hr minimum days.
